Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Payment Procedures Please note that secure credit card facilities from this site are handled by PayPal. This is an easy and safe system to use. You do not need a PayPal account – just follow the route on the left hand side of the 'check out' page – or you can set up an account speedily if you do not already have one: please either click on the Paypal button above, or create this facility during 'check out'. We also accept personal cheques drawn on a UK bank, or bank transfer. For cheque or transfer, please e-mail or phone us (01453 872204) directly when you place your order to arrange the transaction. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

Our postage charges are closely linked to Special Delivery rates, thus ensuring a high quality, speedy and insured service to protect your valuable purchase. Overseas orders usually go by International Parcel Post.

Delivery Schedule Items currently in stock will usually be shipped within two weeks, and always within one month unless we notify you. For very urgent orders, please phone us on +44 (0)1453 872204 to check if we can supply sooner.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, and we expect it to arrive within one month, we will keep your order on file until the item is available and ready to ship. You will not be charged until it is shipped. If we cannot supply it within a reasonable time, we will inform you.

Tax Charges Our prices are fully inclusive, apart from shipping charges. No tax or VAT will be added on at point of sale.

Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee All miniatures are guaranteed as genuine and are made in Russia by qualified miniaturist artists from the villages of Kholui, Palekh, Mstiora or Fedoskino. If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may return it in new condition for exchange or refund within 28 days of receiving it . Please send all returns with a total value of over £100 by Special Delivery, courier, or registered post, so that they are insured against damage or loss. Return postage is at customer's expense. The miniatures are fully-guaranteed for two years against defective lacquering or workmanship. This excludes accidental damage, natural dulling of the lacquer (this may occur over a period of several years), surface marks which may appear after a period of normal display, and damage to the lacquer caused by extreme exposure to heat or chemicals. The guarantee also excludes small irregularities which may occur during the papier mache production and lacquering process. These do not affect the value and artistic worth of the product. Any miniature showing signs of defects within the two year period should be returned for refund or exchange.
